My name is Steven McKay, and I’ve been involved in the second-hand goods and pawnbroking industry since 1989, when I was first licensed as a second-hand dealer.
Over more than 35 years, I’ve owned and operated several pawnbroking businesses and gained extensive hands-on experience buying, selling and valuing all kinds of goods.
Along the way, I also spent 10 years working as a professional punter on racetracks throughout Victoria – an experience that taught me plenty about judgement, value and knowing when the price is right.
As traditional strip shopping centres began to decline, I saw an opportunity to do things differently. I established Cash for Gold businesses in local shopping centres, giving customers a convenient local place to have their unwanted gold assessed and sold.

01 - Do I need an appointment?
No. You’re welcome to walk in during our opening hours without an appointment. Appointments can also be arranged if you prefer, particularly if you have a larger collection you’d like us to assess.
03 - What jewellery do you buy?

02 - Can I sell broken gold jewellery?
Yes. Broken or damaged jewellery may still have value depending on its gold content. Bring it in and we can assess it for you.
