01 - Do I need an appointment?
No. You’re welcome to walk in during our opening hours without an appointment. Appointments can also be arranged if you prefer, particularly if you have a larger collection you’d like us to assess.
03 - What jewellery do you buy?
We assess rings, chains, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, earrings, pendants, charms and other unwanted gold jewellery. We also buy a range of silver jewellery.
05 - Is the valuation free?
Yes. Our valuations are free and there is no obligation to sell.
07 - What identification do I need?
You’ll need to provide valid identification as required by Victorian law. The easiest option is a current photo ID such as a driver licence or passport. If your identification doesn’t include a photograph, two acceptable forms are required. If you’re unsure whether your ID is suitable, contact us before visiting and we’ll be happy to assist.
02 - Can I sell broken gold jewellery?
Yes. Broken or damaged jewellery may still have value depending on its gold content. Bring it in and we can assess it for you.
04 - How will my gold be tested?
We use professional testing equipment, including XRF technology, to help determine precious metal composition and purity without scratching, filing or using acids on your jewellery.
06 - How will I be paid?
Payment is available by cash or bank transfer once the transaction and required identification checks have been completed.
08 - Do you offer home visits?
Yes. Personal home visits with Steven can be arranged by appointment for customers who prefer the privacy and convenience of having their items assessed at home.
